Dear friends,
Thank you for coming to our reception – to hear the testimony and to share our pain. For us in Israel, the support of the United States and the solidarity of American people are of enormous importance.

More than any other people, Americans realize that terrorism is an absolute evil. They realize that the enemy of Israel is not a so-called Palestinian national liberation movement, but a new variation of Fascism called Jihad.

I am an Israeli, a Jew from Russia. For me, it's highly symbolic that it was our people – Russians, Jews, and Americans – who suffered the heaviest losses during the World War Two. But once again, it was the alliance of our people that ultimately defeated the Nazis.

We're in the midst of the World War Three. We have seen its horrible fallout in the ashes of the World Trade Center, in the blood of our children at the Dolphinarium, and in the hostages executed in Chechnya.

Once again, it is the Jews, the Russians, and the Americans who are taking heavy losses. And it is logical that only by joining our hands, by creating an Axis of Good – Russia, Israel, and the US – can we stop this Plague of the XXI century and nip it in the bud.

Thank God, this Axis is being born as we speak. Your presence in this room is another proof of that. And this gives us assurance that we shall prevail.
