Michael Cherney Foundation Helps Build a Boarding School for Children of ex-Soviet Emigres

Over thirty years ago, Reb Itzhak Grossman arrived at a small rickety town in North Israeli called Migdal ha-Emek, or "The Tower of the Valley". Now Reb has built Migdal Or, or "The Tower of Light" - a beacon of genuine Jewish education.

Soon the first stone will be put in the foundation of the new boarding school for children of olim from former Soviet countries. Sixty percent of financing comes from the State, and the rest from private sponsors. Michael Cherney Foundation was one of the first to heed Reb's plea for help.
