Jews: 2,000 Years of History

The Michael Cherney Foundation Publishes a Unique Volume.

Jews: 2,000 Years of History by Elena Romero Castello and Uriel Macias Capon is a review of Jewish history, mores, traditions, art, and literature - in other words, the entire heritage preserved for two thousand years and the testament to the role played by Jews in European history.

Richly illustrated, the book can serve both as exciting reading and a reference source. It presents facts and historical realities that have been often misinterpreted, distorted, or were completely unknown.

"Nothing is more valuable to people then their truthfully narrated history," said Mr. Cherney at the presentation. "I hope that this book, for the first time published in Russian, will evoke interest and sympathy for the history of long-suffering people from millions of Russian-speaking readers. I thank everybody who helped me in publishing this remarkable book."
