A charity concert starring Vladimir Spivakov and the local Philharmonic orchestra was held at Geihal ha-Tarbut in Rishon Lezion.

The concert was sponsored by the Russian Embassy and Mrs. Elena Tarasova, the Ambassador's wife, in person; as well as Ms. Zlata Khazanova and the Michael Cherney Fund, known for its assistance to war veterans, medical patients, and the victims of the Delphinarium bombing. All the proceeds will be directed to the special fund for musically gifted children with low income.
