Aiding Terror Victims
1. Our Fund
renders individual assistance only to terror victims. Other social situations
are considered rarely and on the exceptional basis.
As a matter of
principle, our Fund does not assist the organizations that assist terror
victims. Our objective is helping the victims directly, without intermediaries.
2. Considering
that we receive many applications, we request that you describe your situation
clearly and concisely. Please do not use more than one page 8x11.
- The decision on the case is the Fund's prerogative. The
Fund does not have to give reasons for rejection. We respond in writing only to
those whom we have decided to help.
- Each aspect of your request must be backed up by readable
copies of documents. For example, if you are a terror victim in need of a
plastic surgery, you must furnish with your letter:
- Letter from your doctor showing the need for surgery;
- An estimate ("otzaat mehir") made out by the clinic or
the doctor;
- The letter from the social services showing your
financial situation;
- Your complete mailing address, including the postal
index, and all the phone numbers where you can be reached;
- A copy of "teudat zeut".
Of course there are situations when people
cannot provide a certain document, or even all of the above. However, our
caseworkers will rule on your case only after verifying your circumstances, and
the documents will speed up the procedure.

Helping Humanitarian
Projects
For those wishing to submit a project for the Fund's
consideration:
1. We get many proposals.
Start with a clear and concise description of your project on one page 8x11. If
we are interested, we will contact you for a detailed proposal.
2. We will contact only
those who passed Stage One. We do not send out rejection letters.
3. We return proposals and
enclosed materials only upon the applicant's request.
4. The Fund reserves a right
to refer a proposal to the Idea Bank with ESOD, a public body. If the applicant
does not wish for his work to become public, he must mention it in the proposal.
5. In order to submit
