Residents of West Bank settlements whose family members perished in terrorist acts thank the Cherney Foundation for its financial assistance to families with children left without a provider.
The entire country was stunned by the attack on Vitaly Binus, a former policeman from Kirghizstan. Three terrorists ambushed and machine-gunned his car outside Karnei Shomron. Before Vitaly lost consciousness, he fired two shots – and killed two out of three attackers. His body riddled with bullets, Vitaly was brought to the hospital in a critical condition. The doctors were sure he was not going to make it – but he did, to spite death itself.
Following the attack, Vitaly went through months of recovery and rehabilitation, and all this time he was supported by the Michael Cherney Foundation.
