Youth Programs

May, 2009

On the eve of spring holidays, a noncommercial club for youth “Jewish military heritage” opened its’ doors in Jerusalem. Fencing instructors, historians and enthusiasts are reconstructing Jewish art of war in the times of the Great Uprising of Bar-Kohbah with everything from battle technique and suits to the way of life of Jewish soldiers and their military traditions. The program of the club develops in the young participants Zionist patriotism and interest in the Jewish history. With the assistance of MCF the new club was able to begin its activity right in time for the televised report by Israeli channel 2, dedicated to Independence Day of Israel.
